Get Lost In the Middle

I want to get lost in the middle!

“Those who would give up essential Liberty, to purchase a little temporary Safety, deserve neither Liberty nor Safety.” B. Franklin

That’s a pretty powerful quote isn’t it? Especially in times like these, our elected officials (they work for us you know, don’t forget that!) are increasingly taking away the very thing our Fore fathers fought so hard for, our liberties!

I’m sure like most everything else that is said on the interwebs these days you can find many different interpretations of a quote like what Mr., Franklin said about essential liberty.
Well, I’m here to share one more less common quote from Ben…

“Either write something worth reading, or do something worth writing”

That is one of my very favorite quotes from him, and I try to do one every day I’m alive. I’ve been writing since freshman year in HS when Ms Lanza kept encouraging me to keep writing my feelings, thoughts, ideas and wishes. Most of those writings are personal and private, I use to have them all in a collection and often would return to that binder to add, read, reflect on my past.

That’s also the year I started riding motorcycles and exploring. Trying to get lost in the middle. Finding experiences worth writing about. 39 years later and I’m still looking to get lost.
There is a risk in that, just like everything else that we and our Neighbors do. Im not here to tell anyone what their personal risk is worth, and I ask the same of my neighbors.
I hope you all try every once in a while to just get lost in the middle.

If you see me out there, wave and smile!
